Why does Duke have a majority white roster year in and year out? Does it have something to do with qualifying?

How does Coach K constantly find the best white players out there?

It amazes me. No racism intended either, BTW.

Because there are good WHITE players out there and Duke seems to get alot of them. UNC also had some good White players.

Because Coach K is racist. He lets the blacks go to UNC.

so is Trajan Langdon, but it's still a point. I could add more that aren't pure white, I just stopped there. I just have always found the Duke "white" theory as way too overhyped.

Of course there aren't THAT many good white players out there.

I'll say it since no one else will. Some of the elite basketball players who aren't white typically don't have the gpa and test scores to get into Duke. There are obviously exceptions as bill listed - but coach k couldn't get hardly any of UKs roster into duke.

He sure has an eye for the best white talent out there. He has to have some sort recipe as far as that goes.

I HATE Duke !That being said the acdemic programs they have do tend to lean toward the "unless you get a scholly"you are going to need some finacial backing to attend.read into it as you want.:eek:hmy:

That's why I like duke! I love seeing good white players on a team. Smarter for sure. Here comes the scolding.

Then how did Sheldon Williams get into Duke? You cant tell me he is of upper intelligence..

If top players want to come to Duke, K finds a way. Plain and simple.

The offense they run handcuffs them.

No. You are insane if you believe coach k would have been able to get players like Bledsoe and Rose in. He doesn't even bother with those type of guys because admissions would just laugh at him.

Do you know what sheldon Williams gpa or test scores were coming out of high school?

Coach k still targets black elite players who are good academically, see Elliott Williams.
