i want to be excited about watching this game, top 5 teams, possible 1 seeds on the line. classic clash of ACC powers. K against Roy.

i rememeber back to the mid 90's and they were some of hte greatest games i've ever seen. then Duke rolled for a while, and lately it's been more back and forth.

this game has potential, but it's a match up of which strength will prevail. Duke's outside in and perimeter shooting or UNC's power inside out game with Tyler Hansborough getting tons of touches.

but for some reason, i'm just not feeling it today.

and i think what did it is when i was on the way to work this morning, Bilas was on the radio and his "key" to the game was whoever gets to the line more will win.

and that just sucked imo. basically, which team will the refs favor. it's not in their control, it's up to the "subjectivity" of the guys in stripes.

that sounds like a great game to me.

no, it sounds like a game where you're going to have an entire fan base crying and whining and making excuses for whatever perceived breaks the other team got.

and what's worse is every other team that plays UNC or Duke usualy has the same complaint.....the got the calls.

well this game, you got the two teams that get the majority of all calls against anyone they play besides each other, so the key has to be............who shoots more f/t's. wonderful.:banghead2:

Tough game to call, UNC is not looking all that impressive as of late....Duke closest margain of victory is 9 and that was at MD...Should be a good one, if the Dukies can get Henderson involved early they should be able to take this one...Here of late the visiting team has been the victor...

Heres to my B-Devils stealing one in the Dean Dome! (Dean Dome is a fine place to watch a bball game)

my gut says duke gets it done too. Lawson being out, i think that's a positive thing now right?, is big.

but Duke is a lot like us. they have to be able to shoot form the perimeter to set up everything else they want to do. if they can do that, they can win. if UNC takest he peremiter away, then Duke is in trouble.

I'm going with the Heels over Duke, I think the heels will want to work it in low and keep the score low and not let Duke run. Heels in lower then expected score.

Big loss if Lawson doesn't go..but still should be a great game..Roy has owned Coach K of late...looking to make it 5 of the last 6 against them tonight.

I thought Roy was 4-4 against Duke being the UNC head coach..

Even without Lawson, UNC loses this and it's a significant upset. I hate UNC and love Duke, but the personnel differential is meaningful here.

UNC starting a 3rd screen PG is a big deal and could doom the heels with this being a big game, but it shouldn't.

Without Lawson or Frasor, depth could favor the Blue Devils in the backcourt (although Handjob and Thompson should dominate the paint).

UNC's advantage in the middle is much larger than any advantage that Paulus / Smith seemingly have.

I took Duke on this one. Vols won me $$$ last night and I think Duke will treat me right tonight. Should be a great game no matter who wins.

I just know my roommates bought a bunch of UNC stuff to mock our future roommate who is a complete bandwagon Duke fan.

Me too! Go Duke!!

I think Duke can win this game if they create plenty of turnovers. Although, like you said Jake, it will be the team with the calls, and I believe Hansborough will get every call, even if someone breathes on the guy. Hoping for the upset. GO BLUE DEVILS!:clapping:

I doubt Duke winning this game would be considered an upset, especially with Lawson out for UNC.

I'm suprised you are not a UNC fan, you know, because you think Psycho-T is "cute"

I think Psycho T looks like a prarie dog. Maybe if I am lucky they will break his nose again tonight

Duke has to be on from behind the arc and somehow has to make the rebounding margin close to win. Even with Lawson out, i'm pessimistic about Duke's chances.

That doesn't look anything like a "psycho" to me.

If Duke loses I'll be forced to turn off my phone for the next 48 hours and will be on suicide watch

I couldn't care less about this game, it's really not even that important in the grand scheme of things.

We'll be a 1 seed in Lundardi's latest bracketology because he has us 5th right behind Duke and UNC in 3rd and 4th
