dumb question about coach jones offense

Sorry if this has been discussed previously. It probably doesn't really even matter either, but anyways. Does his offense ever go under center or is it always out of the gun? Short yardage? I don't recall from when we played them, so was just wondering.

It should mostly come out of the shotgun. I expect to see a mixture of pistol, undercenter, and shotgun. Only because its a up-tempo Pro-style offense.

Pretty sure coach said something about primarily running out of the shotgun

Some under center, but few and far between.

Here's one of the coolest trick plays I've scene, and they ran it from under center.

I want offense to go into end zone!!:rock:

I believe it will be fun to watch in 2013!

My favorite thing about this play is the coaching. This play was obviously something put into the gameplan after film study. Its obvious that the Cincy staff seen the backside of the Syracuse Def cheating up to far at times. The staff knew there personal and was able to make a great adjustment. Thats one thing we have not seen at UT in along time, a staff with the ability to make adjustments on the fly.

I'm afraid that scoring points will be hard to come by this year.....anyone want to guess what we avg/game? My guess would be under 23/game

I would rather have a defense that keeps the other guys out of the endzone :thumbsup: If you can't score you can't win!

Coach Jones offense will be tailored to the players he has on hand....up tempo, no huddle and some what of a spread...primarily from the shotgun. It will be interesting to see if we struggle to score points this year as has been suggested.....I'm interested as to how many points per game we are able to average....any thoughts or guess as to points/game?
