Illinois College's Jacob Tucker states his case for an invitation to 2011 NCAA slam dunk contest - ESPN Chicago

Jacob Tucker wasn't after fame when he recently uploaded a two-minute, 14-second video of himself throwing down an assortment of dunks on YouTube.

Tucker, a 5-foot-11 guard from Division III Illinois College in Jacksonville, Ill., wanted to make a case for an invitation to the NCAA dunk contest at the Final Four in Houston.

I'm rooting for him. His dunks were pretty awesome and they got better as the clip went on. Sounded very humble during the interview while also displaying some confidence in his ability to dunk. You could just tell by his voice and demeanor that he's a good kid. Hopefully they'll give him a chance.

Note: The article claims he has a 50 inch vertical. - Pretty impressive.

After watching him dunk a few, I believe he has every bit of a 50 inch vertical.
