ESPN Judge bars athlete from team sports -ESPN Rise FOOTBALL

I saw this on espn and I was wondering was CLK or Fulmer recruiting this criminal? Can someone shed some light on this for me?

I think he was the one that committed under Fulmer, Kiffin liked him, and then he shot someone in the face with an air rifle. Kiffin immediately pulled his scholarship offer. I could be wrong though.

He also had committed assault on his girlfriend before he got caught for the BB gun case.

Kiffin was the one that said see ya. The assault case happened during the Fulmer tenure but was never made public and I was criticized for reporting it without a "link". The BB gun incident occurred during Kiffin's time which is when he then said later.

I'm glad this kid is getting his punishment, but can they really tell him he can't play any sports? Seems like that would be against someones free will, but I guess free will is lost once you shoot someone in the face.
