Dylan Sampson NFL

My son asked me to ask here (cuz he knows this board is FB smart lol) how do some of you sense Sampson’s skill set will translate to the NFL and about where would you see him getting drafted?

He obviously hopes by some miracle his team ends up with him highly unlikely tho

He's a great kid, someone your son can look up to - that's most important.

Secondly, he's going to be a good pro and great teammate for a lucky NFL team.

He will be a late second, early 3rd round pick. He has Kamara like balance and will be a star in the NFL. Many will wonder why he wasn't drafted higher. Just my 2 cents.

Dylan Sampson is the same size as Emmitt Smith and has every bit of the skill set Emmitt had while at UF. Not suggesting Sampson will go on to have the pro career Emmitt did, because Emmitt is in the history books as one of the best ever. When trying to compare Sampson to someone everyone knows, this is the best I can compare......

He's a great RB, but unfortunately, he's not a great pass-catcher and that will limit his upside in the NFL. I think he'll have a good NFL career, but he's not going to be a Kamara-like or McCaffrey-like transformational RB. He'll be a solid rotation guy.

I can see him being valued by the NFL folks similar to Wright which means 3-4th round pick. Personally, I think they both are being undervalued.

My bad, forgot about Travis. When I think Henry and better players, Derrick Henry comes straight to my mind.

Here’s hoping he gets drafted in the 2nd or 3rd and then plays himself into a very lucrative second contract, retires in his mid 20s a very rich man, and then goes and does something else. Young man has a lot more to offer the world than just toting that pigskin, though it’s a joy to see him do it. One of my favorite Vols of this generation.

Since rbs aren’t as high on a teams draft board. I would say 2 or 3 round and he will be a solid to all pro type of player, and an even better teammate. Whoever drafts him is getting a steal
