Here's a small highlight video of Thomasville's most recent playoff game (3-4-08). There should be more highlights to follow as we progress in the playoffs, hopefully we repeat as state champions. This may give you guys a better perspective on how good of a QB, WR,LB,S,DE he can be....true athlete!!

Didn't really do much in the video. What we need is a E.J. Abrams-Ward highlight video.

A local news station had a video but they removed it, along with alot of other sports related material. He's fun to watch on the court because he can muscle his way anywhere in the paint and finish. That video didn't show much, he finished with 27 Pts, 9 boards. Hopefully by the end of the playoffs I can get you guys a better video.

I like that second video. It doesn't show much on the field, but he had a really good interview and looks to have a good head on his shoulders. He at least has the right mind set.

Thanks NEW COACH. volville he is pointed in the right direction, our coaches did a good job of keeping alot of our players disciplined. I hope he adjusts well to a campus that has more enrolled students than our city's total population:eek:hmy: Hopefully he surrounds himself with great company in TN.

Yeah im only a few years older than him. I first met him when he was probably 9 or 10. My senior year of HS he helped us as a freshman win my first state championship which started our 3-Peat.

Warning the following statements may be my own biased opinion!

Unfortunately Thomasville lost their playoff game yesterday. We played Winston-Salem Prep Academy(private school) in Winston-Salem, NC...see the irony yet?? Alot of talent was on display in this game WSP has a Center (6'9 280lbs) who's committed to playing bball at Miami next year. EJAW was in foul trouble early along with our star point guard(very, very questionable fouls). EJ missed 2 minutes of the 1st qtr and the entire 2nd qtr. EJ finished with 17 pts 8 boards. The final was 79-58(yea it got ugly). I wish our team the best they had a successful 22-3 season.

This game has helped fuel a topic that's already being discussed by coaches and the NCHSAA.

Winston-Salem,NC has a population of 220,000+ and their private school (WSP) allows any student in Winston-Salem to attend. Thomasville, NC has a population of 22,000 and only the inner city residents are allowed to attend Thomasville High School. The other students must attend surrounding Ledford HS, and East Davidson HS both located in Thomasville as well.

My question for you guys is "Do you think NC should continue to allow Private schools to play in the smaller brackets against 'Community' schools??"

PS: Dont give up on the highlight video, im still trying to come up with something:search:
