Probably been covered to death, but I have two questions about the e-tickets. (First game in 3 years):
1). Can the Ticketmaster tickets be scanned directly from my Apple wallet? (I don’t see a visible QR or bar code)

2). If I have a guest, can both of our tickets be scanned from my phone.

I’ll hang up and listen.

PS: Apologies if this has been covered.

From the Apple Wallet they work like Apple Pay. You hold your phone near the device and it uses NFC to wirelessly “scan” your ticket.

make sure you put it in the apple wallet before you get there! WiFi sucks around neyland stadium when there are 110,000 using the same network. We had issues getting into the florida game because we didn't put it into our wallet. Eventually had to go to will call to get physical tickets.

Don't expect I'll ever be able to go see a live game again. Have no idea how to use my dam- phone for more than simple text and photo and oh yes as a telephone. Don't even know if it "reads' a scan or anything else and if it did, what to do about it. (dam- sure that Siri know-it-all thing doesn't!) I dread what I see coming as the same problems (learning how to use) creeping into TV watching. Alas, the days of select a channel or pass on a real paper ticket, pay with cash, etc. are as near gone as this old fart!!

This right here. I called in to ask and was told that if you have problems with a Ticketmaster e-ticket you can go to the booth at gate 11, 21 or 23. Definitely a lot easier to make sure it's loaded to your wallet before you're even getting close to campus. Once it's in your wallet you don't need Internet access at all, it's just there.

I'm the same as you in one respect; I'm an old fart too, 69 years, 4 months. I use an iphone and it's really easy to do the eticket. I don't know what type phone you are using, but most phones I believe will work for using the eticket.

Definitely a lesson learned for the future. :)

Thanks for all of the replies. I’ve got them on “my wallet”, I was just afraid there was a problem because there was no visible barcode. I now have confidence 😃

It doesn't show the barcode in the wallet, but when you get to the scanner, open wallet, hold it over the scanner, and bingo, your in. If you have more than one ticket in your wallet, scan the first one, swipe to the next one, hold the phone over the scanner, done.

Thanks. Still not fully “e-savvy” 😅

You’re actually better off. At the UF game nobody that was using the contactless Apple Wallet tickets was having any trouble, but since it was so sunny, some of the readers were having trouble scanning the visible barcodes. That’s why the line to get in at Gate 10 was moving so slow and backed all the way to Thompson-Boling.

First, as I look back 69-70 ain't too old!! Certainly didn't then and really don't now think of those years as "old fart" years! I too have a I phone (supplied by AT&T a year or so ago to replace my I-5 that I so no reason to replace - if it ant broke don't fix it - been told this thing is a I-10). Back when I was 70, most things seemed easy (though did even then tend to hold up the line in the pee trough room at the stadium at least every quarter) Second - As to e-ticket,,,, things being easy are in the eyes of the beholder.:)

I want to say you have to have Bluetooth turned on to use the tap. My tap didn't work in my Google Wallet for the Florida game, but there was a button to "Show Barcode" and I was able to do that for both tickets. No issues, just go with the flow.

I really don't consider myself to be an old fart, just for the sake of the post was why I used the term. I'm very thankful for the health I enjoy, God has blessed me greatly. I still do most anything and everything I want or need to do. As for the pee trough, yeah, I tend to agree. God bless you and continued good life to you.
