My Wireless connection keeps cutting out if I'm more than a few feet away from my router. It's a cisco e2000, anyone have an idea what's wrong with it?

Just the computer and the modem it's connected into.

Yes, I reset the router and the modem. Then I turned them off for an hour, but I'm still having the same problem.

When you're close enough to maintain a connection, under status, what does it say about signal strength?

I'm not sure it says channel width 20mhz. I'm terrible with computers as you can tell.

If you're comfortable with this try taking screenshots ("Print Screen") and then open Paint and press ctrl-v. Save that and, if you want, upload it to imgur: the simple image sharer and send that to me in PM.

I'll see if I see anything that is condemning towards a problem but I'm guessing it's either a weak antennae on your router or interference. Do you live in an apartment building?

Is this just one device or multiple devices that cannot stay connected? Sounds like an antenna lead has come loose on the client.

Dc vol thanks for your help I'm going to try and completely reset it, and reinstall. If that doesn't work I'll try to do that image thing.

You just described one more symptom of a loose antenna lead - it comes and goes. Check these, they can get jarred loose over time
