CPF said:

1. EA will be just fine.
2. Will do more xrays today -- a MRI if necessary.
3. CPF talked like EA would play against LSU.

Shew, ::wipes swear from brow::.....Glad to hear that....Not that I don't think Crompton could do it, I'd just rather start a QB that has some experience in a big game on the road

Good to hear about Ainge!
I'm torn between watching the PF show or the replay. they are both on...

If Ainge is so fine, then why is there a need for more X-rays and a possible MRI. Excuse me for being skeptical, but I think they're just trying to squelch any panic until they actually find out what the true status is. I don't think they really know how bad it is yet. If they did, they wouldn't be doing these additional tests. There are plenty of bad things that could show up on an MRI that don't show up on X-rays. Without having done an MRI yet, they're just blowing smoke at this point.

I heard Crompton at one point last night say "f*** This " when they were considering to put an injured EA in the game in the last few minutes. I hope he is not discouraged.

Yeah he was pissed, but then he piped down once they went ahead and put him in. If you watch the replay game, pay attention real closely.

By the way, if Ainge can't go, I don't expect them to tell us that.

Remember Clausen at Georgia a few years ago? They never really said who was going to start. We didn't know till we got there that Clausen was for sure OUT of the game.

I would think they would do the same with Ainge, but I sure hope he is ok and plays, and plays well.

Yea, I notcied Crompton's f-bomb as well. I wonder if Coach Fulmer did? I can understand his displeasure...but in the mighty words of the Rock...he needs to "Know his role and shut his mouth"!

Eric Zier was the king of the F Bomb; I guess that's because UT owned them during his tenure.

Crompton will get his time in two years.....Then he'll have no reason to want to drop the F bomb.....I can understand his displeasure but they were going to go with who felt like, if they needed it, the guy that gave the best chance to win(captain obvious, I know)...He really had no reason to get mad but I understand why he did

I agree but do we go with an injured Qb over a capable backup in a crucial moment? Do you think an injured EA would have helped us over a capable JC ? Certainly JC had to be thinking " damn I am that bad , that EA is hurt and they will gamble on him than me .
