Can't win with a white QB is pretty blatant racism.
You do know that Sam Ehlinger is mobile right??I agree he shouldn't have said it. But my point is he doesn't know what the **** he is saying. I believe he probably meant that this team needs a mobile qb to scramble to make things happen. He just happen to say black. I know him. I don't think he would have meant that and he respected Bum Phillips.
So why would he have meant a “mobile” quarterback instead of a black quarterback, when they already have one?? Your logic doesn’t make much sense.
I don't think it would be "PC" to say this statement is racist: "Until the University of Texas realizes you have to have a white QB, and nothing against the current black QB, you got to have a talented, white QB."Racist? I don't know, but I like an honest option over the watered down PC garbage spouted by so many nowadays.
I like you... but I'm not buying.Fact is, whether they admit it or not, everybody is a racist. The snarky psycho-sociologists call it ethnocentrism. It exposes itself under certain conditions. Those conditions include but aren't necessarily limited to:
Bigotry
Stereotyping
Limited experiences with other people or cultures
Preconceptions
Herd mentality
Illusions of grandeur
To justify biased, false, and unjust claims or accusations
Under the right circumstances, peer/social pressures all of us manifest racism to varying degrees.
And that includes Earl as well. And White coaches and team owners during Earl's era. It was widely assumed Black QBs were incapable of leading a team. Many capable Black QBs were converted to play other positions. It was why Warren Moon went off to Canada so he could play QB instead of another position the NFL wanted him to. I'm proud to say the UT was the first SEC school to break this stereotype when they took Condredge Holloway. In a nutshell, Earl is doing what the Whites did in his era, thus I guess you can call it equal opportunity racism. So just remember when you get all holy and high horsed about a brown or black person sounding racist, it's just par for the course. Everybody is racist.

It is long past time we recognize and absorb this simple truth- THERE IS ONLY ONE RACE. The genetic difference that cause one to have a little more melanin and another a little less... is a stupid way to divide people.
