Early Recruiting

I generally follow recruiting, which is to say I check this board once every day or so.

Is it just me or am I seeing more names with a '12 and '13 next to them? I don't ever remember the density of sophmores and junior recruiting that I have seen lately. I am glad Dooley seems to be getting in early with some of the top talent. Hopefully this is a sign of spotting talent early and the star gazers will be pleased in a couple of years when we are in big with more 4 and 5 star guys.

I agree and it is very encouraging to see. Especially how unbelievable some of these young kids will turn out. We are sitting well with kids such as the Evan and Elliot Berry, Keyante Green, Barry Sanders Jr., the Freshmen DB kid from Webb High School, and not to mention many others. All name are pretty much high 4 or 5 star recruits. Should be exciting to get some top talent soon.

there is a simple reason for this, Fulmer didn't believe in early recruiting. Mark Richt was really the first i remember doing this, then like a snowball down the hill everyone started early recruiting. everyone but Phil which i truly don't understand.
