He wasn't scheduled to run the race whenever I posted that, but he's entered now to drive his own car from JR Motorsports after he canned Huffman today. About the same time last year that he relieved McFarland of his duties in the car...

gonna be interesting to see Jr in the NAVY car and to see what he can do with JR Motorsports equipment..... I wonder if Hendrick is gonna let him race some busch races for his own team since hes said he wants to

I figured they might be testing some of that new HMS equipment out this weekend, but apparently that hasn't happened as of yet. He commented in an interview about using RCR engines in his car as he always has.

yeah i know he'll be running the new engine from the RCR-DEI engine merger for the Cup race but I wonder what equipment he'll have for the Busch race since hes racing for JR Motorsports and not DEI

Oh, I meant they interviewed him during the Busch practice session today and he commented then (about his Busch car) that he still has RCR engines in it, like he's always had in his JR Motorsports car.

Hopefully he'll get a win and then come out and win tomorrow night but I doubt it.....Have to wait and see
