Happy Easter!

Hope every one has a great weekend!

Get out to church, if that is not your thing, then have a wonderful weekend and go find some eggs! :air_kiss:

No race this Sunday, so surely there'll be some baseball on the TV. I'm figuring Cubs and Braves at least, then the Sunday night game on ESPN.

I'll be at church as will my family (if I can drag the boys out of bed)!

I just saw this Volunteer. I should ask what you were doing up? You know I am a night owl.

Easter is one of the most celebrated holidays for me. I'll be there. We had a Seder supper last Sunday night.

I believe in Christ and the reason for this time of year. If you are a football, NASCAR, bball, UFC, all around sports guy, Jesus is your man. Jesus was a MAN'S MAN. He never backed down to anyone. His is the kind of team I am on. Call me a bandwagoner....

Good comeback Volunteer. I found it somewhat amusing when the post asked "Who was going to Church Sunday" and you said" Freak, what the hell you doing up"? :biggrin2:

I'm getting excited already just from the list of music we'll be singing much less hearing the word. :clapping: :yahoo:

My nephew was so cute today. He is 5, and was trying to explain Easter to his 2 month old little brother. He was so intent. He said it's not about the bunny, or the eggs, it is about Jesus. Then Logan told him about Jesus. That makes it all wonderful. Just to watch that, and realize that they grasp it.

I don't need church to believe in Jesus. It's all Christianity to me

God bless everyone this Easter Sunday and every other day

True, you don't need church to believe in Jesus but the church does provide a place to worship and learn and become closer to God with fellow Believers.

I know I thought that was funny. You are talking to a group of Tennessee people about Baptist churches............thats all there is around here!!! LOL I swear here in NC there is one on every corner.

Well, Belmont is a baptist college and they made it to the NCAA tourney this year. That's good.Myself, I've been through about 3-4 different church affiliations and that doesn't mean that's the last of it!It's not the church it's the person!Who really cares.

Nothin' against Baptists... Just that, the last time I went to a Baptist Church I got an hour-long detailed speech about how all homosexuals are going to burn in eternal hellfire. I decided to keep my distance after that one. If I want to go to Church, I would like to leave feeling good and connected with God, not worrying for my friends who have made lifestyle choices disagreeable with Christianity.
