Not too much here other than a story about a transfer graduate QB.

It's 37-21 Oregon early in the 3rd quarter.

51-35 Eastern is fun to watch. Surprised how well they're playing with a new QB.

But the people in the football forum told me that UT is the only team that would ever allow an inferior team to score 30 points.

Eastern is my hometown school, just outside Spokane. I've seen acouple games on their red field. Pretty fun. I'm glad they had a good showing and scored 42 on Oregon.

Funny that their QB from the last few years has transferred to Oregon. I hope he does well.

Oregon QB Vernon Adams had to leave the game / was taken to the locker room late in the 4th quarter, after what several of the TV analysts have been describing as a late hit (more than one said cheap shot) by a defensive player from his former team.

Just watched the video and it didn't seem like a cheap shot or late hit. He was running with the ball and the defender hit him as he began to slide.

I was only typing what they said...well, although to be fair, they were just calling it a cheap shot; I was hoping wording it that way might have been a bit better.

I'm glad they had a good showing offensively. Eastern scores 42 on Oregon and Washington State couldn't score more than 17 on Portland State. Sigh. To be a fan of NW football....
