Not the believers or the hopeful ones, but the people who said he was 100% coming. Off the top of my head, Yay4Bray comes to mind. Dig in, all you can eat crow!

Also, welcome Coach Jones. You're not the guy I wanted but I will support you 100% until you stink up the field (hoping you don't)

Just let me ask this, are you happy that the grudenites are eating crow? Because Butch Jones is our coach, let that resonate with you a second... Butch Jones...

There was more to it than the call from the agent. I am very very happy with Butch Jones. He is the type of coach I would like to have. Not a fan of the spread but maybe they don't go in that direction. But, facts are that Gruden was VERY interested and it came down to $ fo the assistant coaches. It didn't happen but it was right up to the 11th hour.

I stuck it out for 2.5 years with Dooley, I can do the same with Jones if it comes to that. Im a VFL I will support whoever represents the T!!!

I will come in and eat crow if that is what you like.......I heard it from the mouth of one of the decision makers. Now, guess even they were wrong. I lay the blame of this entire fiasco at Cheeks feet, he needs to go yesterday. I will support Butch Jones and from what I understand is a hard worker and has been successful at the lower level. Im in my early 50s now and I am tired of rebuilds, but I have no choice. Being a VFL I will be there on saturdays and hope for the best. Butch Jones wanted to accept the challenge that is here, Charlie Strong is a wimp and was scared to come to the big stage. Good luck Charlie with that big raise you got, hope you enjoy the expectations that brings with it, even at Louisville. Remember Kelly was in play coming to Knoxville while he was at Cincinnati, guess the Notre Dame fans were feeling the same way Vol fans are today back then.

At least Jones is not afraid of competing in SEC. Gruden is still a joke, asking for 6M but scared by Saban, Les miles, or Franklin.

Their records speak for themselves. What does Charlie Strong have that Jones doesn't? Aside from his accomplishments as a coordinator. As a HEAD COACH. I understand Strong had a good year this year, but his strength of schedule is pathetic

I'm hear to eat crow, even though I was not an OG. I never claimed he was coming, but I absolutely bought the rumors hook, line and sinker. I wanted to believe we could get Gruden, and I was willing to stretch the imagination and believe the OG's. So just for the record, I was a believer. I should not have believed the OG's. I was desperate and grasping for anything to make my mind believe we could land a guy with Gruden's coaching pedigree.

I got excited about the rumors too. It's the people that claimed week in week out for us to relax and watch Gruden to Tennessee unfold its 100% that pissed me off. I'm ok with Jones though.
