ECU holds imaginary "virtual bowl"

I think this is actually a smart thing to do. If they sell 10K of these fake tks and another CUSA team sells the same amount to their bowl game this year, next year they will be more attractive for the better bowls. Those type bowls have to be worried about selling tks and if this is successful ECU can use this in the future.

Because paying $50 to a charity AD is comparable to a rival school paying $50 for a BCS ticket + travel to southern Florida and back + lodging + food. ECU fans are idiots if they think this is an equal comparison.

I like someone's response to pay with fake money. Someone should send them $50.00 in monopoly money.

They are bummed by not even getting an invite to the Big East this offseason. If they outsell a team like USF, they'll have legs to stand on, here.
I grew up in eastern NC, and I spent every fall Saturday either at NCSU games, or ECU. I probably would have gone to ECU if I hadn't moved to Maryville in 11th grade.

Read somewhere the money is going to a new basketball facility. It's basically just a fundraiser with a funky concept.
