Not returning to FSU next year. Maybe we get him? Gotta wonder where CBJ goes now that Tee declined. Gran is a great recruiter.

I'd take Gran over Hinshaw or Tee, but he's probably getting the Arkansas St. HC position if he's leaving FSU.

Two things.............Gran is looking for a head coaching job. #2, he is one of the dirtiest recruiters in the game. You do not want him anywhere near Knoxville.

He should definitely get a look from Coach Jones. He's a good recruiter and a good coach.

I don't understand how you can go from Position Coach to Head Coach without any coordinator experience.

I would love to have him back in Knoxville, he was great for us the year he was here.

What has he done that qualifies as dirty? This is the first negative thing I've heard referring to Gran.

Gran has already been in Knoxville during the Kiffin era.

Try looking up some information about Gran and his morals and beliefs before you insinuate something like that.

Gran was on Kiffin's staff....I thought he bolted for FSU because of Kiffin's recruiting tactics. #2 if by dirty you mean a guy that can thieve a Gator commit to FSU then yeah your right.....otherwise you are posting trash about him pretty much :good!:

Coming from a UF fan?? Gran was here before. And, I know first hand that he was very good friends with one of the support staff (best in the business) who is still here. Gran bailed on Kiff due to all the antics in recruiting. Gran, unlike the rest of the wacko Kiffin staff, was a family guy, good character and would never sign a contract due to all the shady recruiting practices Kiffin was employing while here.
so, if you have any specific allegations, please do share.

Multiple outlets in Tallahassee are reporting what we've been hearing...that Eddie Gran is not expected to return to the staff. We were told that Tubs was hoping to bring Bobby Petrino to Cincinnati if he didn't land a head coaching spot...; but now that this is done, Eddie is the likely choice, that is unless he himself gets a head coaching opportunity. Gran is reportedly interested in Arkansas State, FIU and Jacksonville State. per football scoop
