Judges....hmmm. Short term memory loss. Harriet Myers.

Encouraging the enemy...what better way than get bogged down in Iraq and do little in going after the guy who killed 3000 Americans on 9/11.

Security....open ports, open borders...need say no more.

Economy....subsidize more farming at my expense. Encourage more companies to go south.

Immigration....after the pandering that is going on now and the GOP not on the same page as their President, why is this an issue? This is not even a conservative-liberal argument since some from boths sides have redefined the sides here.

Let's toss in the most out of control spending this country has ever seen. Let's throw in the largest government we've ever seen. Education? All in the hands of DC now. Energy policy? Nothing has been done. The GOP has Congress and the White House but still cannot even come up with an energy policy. Social Security...whether your a Dem or Republican, this system needs to be either taken out back and shot or in a severe need of overhaul. Bush and his party cannot even agree on anything here.

Remember this. Much of what is going on in Congress now is no different than what the Dems traditionally do. Also keep in mind that the Dems will probably only take the House. That leaves the Senate, and thus judicial appointments, in GOP hands. Don't forget the WH still controls foreign policy so don't think much will change there as well.

Odds are very little changes with a Dem takeover of one house and perhaps both. All you will see is louder rhetoric as both sides jockey for position in 2008.
