Decent article, got a laugh out of the UT barb, but I don't take much offense at that stuff anyway.

Anybody notice that on either Tuesday or Wednesday, EVERY SINGLE article on the front page of the Sports section of the KNS was college football related. I just love this time of year....

Here's an excerpt of the UT stuff for those that don't want to read the whole thing:
Then, of course, there's Tennessee, college football's version of the Cincinnati Bengals, which has had four players arrested since May and a fifth, Raymond Hudson, kicked off the team for making an inappropriate comment to a woman and her young daughter at a restaurant. Hey, give the Vols credit. Last off-season they had eight players taken downtown. Kind of gives a little credence to that joke about Tennessee:

A: Because you can wear it to the game Saturday, you can go hunting in it Sunday and you can wear it while picking up trash on the side of the highway Monday.

They should take away his columnist's license for using a joke that old.

I went to school with one of those kids that was a Hurricanes, Yankees, Bulls, and Tar Heel fan... he used that joke, but wasn't quite intelligent enough to get it right. He would say 'go hunting on Saturday, watch the game on SUNDAY, and go to work on Monday.' A blank stare and a "College football is played on Saturday, genius" response usually got the 'wow, you're an idiot' message across.

Comedic geniuses like this guy can't possibly be expected to do something as mundane as get names right and be accurate.
