Elite Recruits Ranked By State

Very interesting. It definitely illustrates how certain programs have an easier path to top recruiting classes each and every year. I'm glad to see Tennessee near the top. I hope we can keep the majority of talent in-state. Also, I think it's important to note how close Tennessee is in relation to a lot of the top states, especially Georgia and North Carolina.

Wow. Thought we had more talent than states like Pennsylvania

Georgia should be #1 every year with basically no in-state competition and that many top recruits. Texas, Florida, Alabama, etc all have multiple schools fighting for the same in-state guys. UGA has GA Tech and GA Southern

Absolutely agree. They have it SO easy yet comically screw it up every year. Hope Smart sucks again this year.

Throw in their easier schedule with AU as their permanent SECW opponent and it is even worse.

That is a different argument. In-state kids like to play for the school they grew up being a fan of, and that their friends and family love. For 90% of kids growing up in GA that aren't legacies of another school that is UGA. Not USC, Auburn, or Clemson. Should be like shooting fish in a barrel for the Dawgs
