Elk and mule deer hunting

I am planning a hunt in colorado , GMU 27
I was looking for any helpful info.
Places to eat on the way out! And any info on hunting the area.

I'd love to win an Elk tag in the TN drawings. I have applied for 3 straight years now. Them things sale for big bucks.

No kidding. If I actually got a tag it'd go straight to auction. IIRC one sold last year for over 8 grand.

Yeah one sold on ebay for around 20k a few years ago.

People pay 3x that to hunt reservation elk in AZ. Of course those are on steroids but they sure are big
