End of the St. Johns / Rutgers game

Unfortunate for sure. The Rutgers coach is handling it with class, but he has to be disappointed. St. John's did everything but give that game to them on a silver platter. I like Syracuse a lot in that game tomorrow night.

Unfortunate doesn't do justice to how atrocious that no call was. Rutgers was absolutely screwed out of a chance. The St John's forward traveled, stepped out of bounds with 1.2 left, and threw the ball into the stands which would have been a tech. Rutgers should have had free throws and the ball back. I couldn't imagine if I was Mike Rice, I would have blown up.

Would have to say the worst series of no calls i have ever witnessed. I mean just unreal.

I think this can be filed away in a spirit of the law v. letter of the law. Unless the refs were going to call the foul on the inbounds, I see no reason to be upset about the lack of the rest of the calls.

St. John's won the game when they stole the ball. The kid was excited. If he had waited one second, he might have been fouled. He would have gone to the line with .08 or less on the clock with the change to completely ice it.

Dumb move on the part of the player. That is all.

The St. John's player walked out of bounds holding the ball with time left on the clock. You cannot stretch the rules of basketball far enough to justify that as a "spirit of the law" no-call.

With more than enough time left for Rutgers to run a play.

The fouls I can maybe (maybe!) see, but the step out of bounds? That's not a "let them play" kind of scenario.
