I saw the word schadenfreude, and thought this might be another Mike Hamilton is my baby daddy thread. WHEW!

He is the epitome of what happens in the right system. A person could make the argument that he was one of the ten best collegiate players ever, but very few could make the argument he was among even the five best quarterbacks at his own school. And, as we see with him being a 3rd string QB, he is not even one of the 60 best QB's on the professional level. And that's a league where Tarvaris Jackson starts.

You couldn't be more wrong. :eek:lol:

What Tebow does or likely doesn't do in the NFL has no bearing on what he accomplished at the collegiate level.

Hard to say, but if he was looking to be successful in the NFL he shouldve been at LB, FB or TE. No doubt he was the best player in football under CM's system.

Kind of funny thinking back to the gator homers who insisted tebow would be a successful NFL QB. Ain't gonna happen with those sloppy mechanics.

Think John Clayton said the other day 'Tebow couldn't complete 50% of his passes playing against air'

You know if Tebow played at Tenessee and had the same stats and awards he would not meet the requirements to have his jersey retired. Tennessee's requirements are stupid! What you do in the NFL should not matter. They made it that way so Majors could not have his number retired.

I'm pretty sure that's false.

(meaning they'd retire it anyway. I didn't phrase that properly)

In my opinion, a system player at the QB position is not the same as being a traditional QB. Nothing about Tebow's mechanics screamed QB. He was a glorified running back with leadership qualities. Which worked at Flroida, no doubt. But actually make him play the QB position, stand under center, understand a complex offense, and manage a game and he flops.

No Tebow hate, it is what it is. Meyer recruited him for a specific purposes and he filled it perfectly.

What he said. I won't get all butt hurt about us not beating timmy snippers. He was one of the best college players of all time. But a good qb he was not.

4th on the depth chart? tebow needs to get the hell outta denver

everytime he's stepped in a game he's done pretty good including the 1 preseason game this yr but if their gonna move him to 4th and take away his preseason reps he needs to get out now

i mean this team is gonna suck no matter what 5 or 6 wins at best with orton i dont know why they act like its a big deal to let tebow start the second half of the year again
