Also, since I have to labor on Labor Day, depending on how late the race ends, the race results and championship points update may be later than usual. I'll try to post the race results tonight, but it may be 24 hours before championship points are updated.

Gordon trying to track drown Truex Jr

Obviously he needs the win in the worst way but if he were to get back into The Chase it would have to be one of, if not, the biggest comebacks in NASCAR history since The Chase started. He's had so much bad luck that it's finally going his way.

So close yet again...

Not sure he wanted that yellow. Truex was low on fuel and Gordon was within 1.5-2 seconds with 5 to go...

Gordon was never going to catch the #56 if there hadn't been a caution. That being said, get those freaking EGR cars off the track. They are rolling road blocks every single race and cost Truex the win tonight.
