I hear you. While I'm not personally afraid/skiddish toward them, I understand why people might be. My parents have some horses, including two Belgian draft horses (think Clydesdales, just a touch smaller). I'm a big dude, but they throw me around like a rag doll. And if they don't want to go somewhere...they're not going. I tried leading one of them by her harness into her stall, and I might as well have been trying to pull a bulldozer.

Nonetheless, I love horses, they're very gentle animals in general. It's a shame that EB's first experience with one was bad. The horse was likely wanting to play when it bit him.

I used to do some Coyote hunting on a friends in laws land.....I always HATED crossing the horse pasture to get into the woods, there was one horse that would be an INCH from my back and follow me up to the edge of the woods, I was just waiting on it to trample me...
