Thanks, and yes I believe he's already a Pro Bowl alternate, though that doesn't always say much.

I think Berry is already a top half safety in the NFL. He makes a few mistakes which he will be able to avoid when he has more experience against complex pro offences.

He's gotten better as the year went along, which is expected during a rookie season....I think he's top 15 at least if not better

Doesn't surprise me. Whenever Reed retires then Berry will be the #1 safety.

Honestly I'm going to go with Polumalu. Ed Reed is fantastic, the guy is second in the league in inceptions and he missed like five games or something! BUT TP changes the game, line of scrimmage and beyond. Give EB his time, hes almost right there with them!

I'll take Ed Reed all day. He misses the first 6 games and comes back to lead the league in ints. He is every bit the game changer that Polumalu is.

Troy P. gets so much accolades because he seems to be in the right place at the right time. Anytime there is a fumble, he seems to be in the area to recover it. Anytime there is an interception, he is usually a few feet away and is Johnny on the spot.

Exactly why he is the best safety in the league right now...great players put themselves in the right spot at the right time, especially safeties. wow guys...think about what you're typing.

Inception. Is it possible?

Eric Berry is a beast! I only wish he would have gotten the 7 or so interception yards to break the record.

You're crazy. Just look at the impact he had after his return during our Super Bowl run.

I'm not saying he's no good at all. WHEN he plays, he's perfectly fine.

Missed 49 career games, played 47. Can't be considered top of the line, I don't think... and Polamalu is the standard.
