I noticed on the ESPN/SCOUT bar on ESPNU last night that Tennessee was not listed in Eric Berry's Top 5. I thought we had an inside track with this kid, didn't his father or his uncle play with the Vols in the 80's?
I noticed he is listed as a 5* and the number 1 in his position. Anyone have any info on him?

"In no specific order, I like Tennessee, Miami, Texas, USC (Southern Cal), and Georgia," Berry said. "Those are my top five schools right now."

Rivals still has UT listed on his schools along with a handful of others.

You don't have to have a subscription to get some of their info.

Berry will be in Orange & White don't worry. Trooper is all over this kid the race is between us and UGA. I see us getting this kid just because we have Trooper recruiting him and we have family ties to this guy. Also, we need to get this kid to visit and see our new awesome stadium to really increase our chances. Even if a prospect didn't like UT he would be tempted to go there to play at Neyland on Saturday night under the lights its that NICE. The kid runs a 4.3 & is a 5*....we can't lose this kid...We have arguably the best SECONDARY in the nation and if BERRY wants to be a CB he will be very impressed with UT this year.

If Rodney Garner is recruiting him for UGA, it's not as clear cut as you make it.
