Pundit Press: Feds Refuse to Prosecute Muslim Army Recruiting Center Shooter

This comes as Muhammad has admitted that he is an
Islamic radical and has implicated himself for the murder.

Despite this, the Federal government will not take the
case.
------------------------

"That's unquestionably embarrassing for the FBI," said
Brian Gallini, a University of Arkansas criminal law
professor. "I can't come up with a comparable example
of a mistake the feds would want to admit to."

Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad aka Carlos Bledsoe
was converted to islam in Nashville, Tennessee and
was radicalized in a mosque there, I believe he also
recieved training in the moslem training camp in
Dover, Tennessee before committing his crimes in Arkansas.

Hey, GS, is there a reason you left this little gem out?

Still, the FBI and the DOJ refused to bring up the case in federal court. Perhaps this was to prevent embarrassment or perhaps to allow Arkansas to bring Muhammad up on charges. This would increase the chances that Muhammad would be executed for his attack.

Oh, and Brian Gallini:

Brian Gallini

Associate Professor of Law

B.A., J.D., LL.M.

Professor Brian Gallini received his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School in 2002. While at Michigan, Professor Gallini served as the Articles Editor on the Michigan Journal of International Law. After his graduation from law school, Professor Gallini served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Robert W. Clifford on the Maine Supreme Judicial Court. He thereafter joined the Washington, D.C., office of Duane Morris LLP practicing white-collar criminal defense.

Professor Gallini left practice in 2005 to clerk for the Honorable Richard Allen Griffin on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit Court. Before joining the University of Arkansas, Professor Gallini taught for two years at the Temple University Beasley School of Law in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Outside of academia, Professor Gallini has coached ice hockey for the past several years. Notably, he served as the Head Coach for the University of Pennsylvania Men's Ice Hockey Team from 2006-08 and is now the Co-Head Coach for the University of Arkansas Men's Ice Hockey Team.

He does not exactly have a thorough background in anti-terrorist law. Maybe he gets a lot of extra reading done in his spare time; I cannot imagine he has too much spare time though as an Associate Professor (therefore, much more lecture hours than full professors) and a DI Men's Hockey Head Coach.

The guy is obviously talented; most likely, extremely bright. That said, I am not going to take his words as gospel, nor the words of some random blog.

There's no reason to not capitalize the first letters of Moslem/Muslim and Islam. Ethnocentrism is a killer.

So if the information bureau is silent it isn't happening
in your world??

When I think of terrorist expert Eric Holder I always
immediatly think of two things, defying a court order
to kidnap Elian Gonzalez and ship him back to Cuba;

and obtaining pardons for FALN terrorists who didn't
even request clemency.
