Hey guys

Well I only caught the first quarter of the UGA game & was just wandering what Ainges completion % was.

I noticed Smith dropped a few early in the game.

Oh & were there any BIG TIME plays? Like a 80 yard pass to Meachem for a TD?

Or a Kickoff return for a TD by Coker?:)

There were at least 7 big time plays (thats right boys, 7 TDs! Woohoo!!)

Ainge looked very good all night, completing almost 66% of his passes and racking up 268 yards. He was sacked once on a good safety blitz by UGA and a bad read by Coker. I believe that sack was probably the reason we saw a lot of Arian Foster for the rest of the night.

We were talking about that on the way home. I don't think I've ever seen a 50+ point performance without any long scoring plays. I can't remember very many plays over 20 yards at all. Coker did have a very timely 45 yard kickoff return.

What I liked was that Ainge never looked rattled, every drive looked like just another day at the office for him.

It was kind of funny on Ainge's first pass attempt . . . He threw a rocket ball way over the receiver's head and almost into the stands and the whole Tennessee section's eyes just got real big as if to say "Erik, please don't do this to us again."

That was not limited to the Tennessee section. He looks more comfortable every game.

I think he's past letting mistakes ruin the rest of a drive, we finally have a QB, Cut has molded him and coached him up.

The thing that impressed me was that he ran around to avoid the pass rush a few times and made some pretty cool throws under pressure. He has really progressed.

Ainge looked like a true leader out there. Going into the game, I was more worried about the crowd noise than anything and it wasn't a factor with Ainge at all. The Vols didn't even have to call a timeout because of noise and I think the line only had one false start didn't they?

Anyhow, it really is amazing how far he has come since last season.

It is amazing what open receivers actually do for a qb's confidence.

These guys look like the are going out and having fun. I have not seen that in the last 5 years. This is the kind of offense recruits pay attention to.
