Great article about the game last night which substantiates a lot of stuff we have all been saying around here.

Yeah, Alabama has had a very good team over the past couple of years. But this year they were overrated, especially when playing teams that were low on the totem pole (unfortunately we were a part of that distinction)

I never thought Bama earned their #1 ranking all year and when you saw how they barely got out of A&M and Colorado, it makes you wonder why they got defended so much. Auburn was the start of showing that Bama's has problems many weren't willing to admit but Oklahoma proved for sure that this could be the start of their fall.

They are losing a good chunk of players this year, the biggest question mark is who their QB is going to be? Bama fans might find themselves underperforming again next year.

All I can say is that it's going to take quite a bit to convince me that they will be national title contenders again in the next couple of years.

Saban STILL has the advantage of "Drafting" instead of "Recruiting"...

And probably still has the "Best Coaching Staff in America"...'cept for Butch, of course...

I'd love to be in a position of soul searching coming off 3 national titles, followed by a disappointing 11-2 season.

They were great.

Not as good as watching the reactions to the Auburn last second touchdown but hey, I still loved it.

The Auburn crowd shots were all about the AU fans' reaction and joy. My lasting impression of anything Bama related to that game was watching McCarron calmly walk off the field and hugging his mother and smoking hot girlfriend.

Last night's camera shots reminded me of those movie theater shots of people watching Paranormal Activities...the majority of reactions were sheer horror.

On the flip side, at one point I though Ms. Webb and AJ's mom were going to make out after a Bama TD. They had my undivided attention.

Eh….I'm beginning to think the entire the product really is watered down a bit much like CBB. Bama also got a little lucky drawing Notre Dame in the NC last year.

The good news is that handful of great players can make a huge difference on a team. The bad news is that it has been a while since UT has had those players.

Don't get me wrong….I would love to have their problems too.

But….but…but…only giant ******* buy out of games….

People don't realize that UT has become that team that opponents schedule from the SEC for the guaranteed W.

Yeah. And you was standing on the couch chanting SEC! When Bama scored the first 6 last nite too.

NAVFLIMHO.

Much has been made of Alabama's dominance (which it certainly has accomplished). However, Bammers belief that they are the best and that Auburn is weak aren't supported by the facts.

Over the last 10 years both team have 3 SEC Championships. If Auburn wins Monday (big if) they will have 2 NCs to Bama's 3 over the same time period and Auburn was denied a chance to play for a 3rd in 04.

That's about as even as it gets.

How was bama overrated this season when they beat nearly all the top teams in the conference. The SEC is beginning to level out after a couple years of it being all bama and LSU, but that doesn't mean they are overrated.

When top recruits decide that big 10 or big 12 is the best conference is when SEC teams will start being overrated.

UA was over rated to an extent and the article tells the truth somewhat. UA could of easily have 4 or 5 losses this season. But we won because of the better talent on the field against teams that played well but did not have to talent to keep pace in the end.

But in the end the talent we have returning not concerned and this incoming class will be the best Saban has brought in. Anyone that thought UA would win NC every year is foolish but UA will contend for them most years with Saban and the talent he has brought in.

I think this is some pretty big overreactions (and a lot of hope) going on.

First of all...barely getting out of A&M and Colorado? A&M wasn't as close as the score, and I assume you mean Colorado St., who they beat 31-6.

And how exactly were they overrated playing us? The game was over at halftime.

If they have problems, then I hope to goodness we have these problems some day.
