UT fans have to be excited about that Maui field next year - that is an unbelieveable field in Hawaii.

The best thing about this for ESPN and ticket sales... 3 out of the 4 of those schools won't have a football team that matters in the month of November.

Self noted that Kansas and Duke will head from the game in New York next season to the loaded Maui Invitational that includes Tennessee, Memphis, UCLA, Georgetown, Michigan and host Chaminade.

I noticed it's a doubleheader. For a moment, I was wondering how a team could be in two tourneys. I am a little green with envy. That is an impressive recurring doubleheader to be included in every year.

It's a shame UNC is not involved, but I guess they wanted to represent four conferences.

That is an impressive field - way better than this year. The Maui Classic has always been my favorite early season tourney.
