I guess it's bled over to Florida now. Of all the highlights they showed on SC, they only showed Tebow on offesne and the rest were defensive highlights...nothing on what Leak and co. accomplished. A lot of talk about how OSU played poorly, the 51 day layoff, the media had been hyping up OSU providing motiviation for FLorida etc, etc, etc....and the game changing play of the game was a sack, when you offense scores 41....hm....and the question was asked...if they played 10 times how many would FL win? at least they gave them that one....

the truth is out there.....:birgits_giggle:

Nothing better than to watch the Unholy three have to bow down to the best damn league! Quit talking about the perfect game, Troy Smith got owned by the best defense in the country! I give no credit to OSU, but all the world to Florida. Can't wait to go head to head next year with the recruiting class we have coming in.

No matter how many times you play it, tonight Florida proved the SEC is the best conference going. I for one am tired of listening to those jerks.

All it proves is the SEC is the best at the top. What did Tennesse's loss prove? How about Arkansas taking an L?

eh? Did you even watch SC? Yeah, Holtz made the comment about the 50 days a few times, but Herb called him out on it. Something about how he didn't want to hear any excuses about Ginn or 50 day layout. They both gave the Gators all the credit they deserved. Even made many references to the undeniable dominance of the SEC, and questioned the quality of opponents tOSU has played in the season.

And when you hold the #2 offense and the hiesman winner to 80 yards, 4 completions, 5 sacks, int and fumble...yeah I would say the defense was the story of the game.

Big win for the gators, congratulations. Lay off of ESPN already, they are just commentators with opinons, geeze.

ARK and TN losses were bad imo. KY winning, SC winning and FL winning were good. and FL wining was good.

Bama was bad.

it was a mixed bag this year for the SEC in bowl games. I would say that between KY, GA and FL the SEC won two games they weren't probalby supposed to.

between LSU, SC, AUB they won games they were supposed to win. TN lost a game they were supposed to win and AR and Bama lost games that were pushes imo.

At least they didn't call the team that lost the championship game the best team of all-time... I mean who would ever do that... oh wait, ESPN did that for USC last year :eek:lol:

LSU would of done the same to OSU! True number 2 in the country! But hey, latest poll has Fla 1 Tn 25 so we have it covered from top to bottom!

If TN takes care of business, the whole bowl outlook for the SEC looks different.

The ARK-WIS game was a weird one with ARK outrushing them by about 230 yards and turning the ball over.

What isn't theory is the contract ESPN has with the BIGICAN"TCOUNT conference. They are , you can argue, contractuly(sp.) obligated to hype that conference for ratings.

That would make the SEC 6-3 in bowl games this year with a NC for one of them. Good conference showing. Should have been 8-1 though.

The Big 10 was awful in general in bowl season. SEC proved it is better at the top, and also at the bottom.. The Big 10 has a better 3-4 punch, but not much more.

For once you guys can't blame Kentucky. :)

They were 10 point dogs against Clemson.
