Watching College GameDay Final on E$PN, covered the Cotton Bowl, which Tennessee won after all 3 stooges picked an A&M win as well as the dumb and dumber duo in the studio.

They showed:
TD pass Clausen to Fayton
Fumbled punt recovered by Tennessee
Houston's TD run following the punt fumble recovery

It wasn't like there was a complete slate of football games today. :espn:

Trev Alberts did say that he was wrong about his prediction (A&M would blowout UT), and that Fulmer and the team did a great job to come out so focused after losing the last 2 bowl games.

The 3 stooges hyped the upcoming Orange Bowl, and haven't addressed today's games yet.

What did you want them to show? It was a 30 point blowout, so there wasn't much back and forth highlights to show.

I see where your coming from. ESPN never gives tennessee the credit they deserve. The media has always seemed to hate the vls for some reason.

Yeah considering that our highlights consisted of 12 and 20 yard plays and yours consisted of Touchdowns they probably did what they could. That and the fact that for some reason the Cotton Bowl is the only game on FOX and ESPN and ABC never once talked about our game. It was really a shame that our teams didn't get more pub leading up to the game than they did.

Well, they certainly reviewed the Utah/Pitt blowout in better light, but still a 35-7 blowout.

Also, no helmet sticker for Clausen or any of the other Vols.

David Greene threw 2 INT's in the Outback, and got a helmet sticker.

:espn:

Also, the 3 stooges ended up not talking about anything but the orange bowl.

No helmet stickers?! I can see why limited highlights would be done, the game was on another network... But giving now helmet sticker to any of the Vols is a crime. Mine would go to Roshaun Fellows.

Consider that the Cotton Bowl WAS NOT in the ESPN/ABC package. They are not going to give the FOX game much credence especially since Fox is thinking of giving ESPN/ABC a little more NCAA competition.

Anybody else think Craig James lost what little credibility he had left when he picked his "upset specials"?

Everyone keeps harping on the fact that we lost our last two bowl games. Big deal. Next year it will be "the Vols lost two of thier last three", don't be surprised when you hear it.

ESPN is a joke, I'm from the northeast where some of the games aren't televised. The weekend I remember the most was the Vandy game. ESPN did not show one highlight but kept repeating the SC/Clemson brawl every two minutes. And when they wore that out they went back to the Pistons/Pacers fight. They showed no sports highlights all day. It was tabloid TV at it's worst .

I thought is was more than "thinking".... didn't FOX actually get the new BCS bowl game package?
