I thought that all of the losses would drop us a little further but I'm happy that we were in the top 20. I don't know where Rivals will have us but I don't expect to be out of the top 25.

What is the status on Oku? Would he really go to Syracuse or Auburn before wearing the Orange? Isn't Auburn going to run a spread offense? Syracuse is no better than the Vandy of old. What on earth is Drayton or Trooper telling this kid?

Rankings are nothing if the kids do not get coached correctly....I think we ranked top 5 a few years back and did not produce with the kids

The Vols finished in the top 5 twice in the past 4 years in recruiting..... resulting in a 5-7 record. They still have to be coached once they get to campus.

still, this year's class is higher ranked than last year's.

i'd much prefer kiffin and his staff plus a 25th ranked class over fulmer and his staff and a top 5 ranked class.

I don't care who the coach is, you can't win the Kentucky Derby with a plow mule. I'm greedy. I want the new staff, and a top five class.

Getting such a late start really hurt. Overall, this is a great class for the short amount of time the staff had to work with. :good!:
