ESPN Hating on Dooley and others

A lot of that article was correct except the part for saying the fans hate those coaches because they're great coaches. This definitely does not include Dooley. He has to be one of the worst coaches ever. He was arrogant, not welcoming to our VFL's, and couldn't win with a fairly good roster. A good coach could have went 8-4 with the talent he had here his last year. Look at how many of those guys are now in the NFL. How do you not win with that? As for Kiffen, I hate to say it, but he may not be a good head coach as was proven at USC, but he is a pretty good OC and does well with the QB's. I wouldn't piss on him if he was on fire, but he did a pretty good job with Jonathan Crompton. Glad he is gone from here as we would have definitely been in big time trouble with the NCAA had he remained our coach.

Article is from 2012? This is 2000 and 14....bUTch gets it, Kiffin proved he doesn't and can't and hipster dofus is now helping the Cowboys continue to be less than competitive.

From the article:

"Tennessee fans hate that they have to acknowledge that Lane Kiffin can coach."

How'd that work out for USC, ESPN?

Yeah Lane Kiffin is..ugh. I don't think Dooley is an too bad, just that he was never meant to be a Head Coach. Ever.
EVER. EVER! Anywhere.

QB Coach at Cowboys would work better if Jones actually knew how to manage an NFL team

Best one:

"Les Miles is hated because he beats you when he doesn't look smart enough to win."

So stinking true.

tell Jonathan Crompton

Are you under obligation to rush to Kiffin's defense every time his name comes up? I am in the camp that believes he can coach but also understand why he is reviled. I had fun the year he was here but he did a lot of harm to our program with how he left and ushering in the Dooley era.
