Currently has Tyler Wilson from Arkansas around 7th on the list.. Seriously, what is the deal with this kid? People around the country are anointing him the second coming after ONE game against a pretty terrible Auburn secondary.

I can name 3 quarterbacks in the SEC off the top of my head that are better than him (Murray, Bray, Brantley, heck maybe even McCarron and Relf). College football experts must be on vacation this year with all the hype around this kid.

People seriously need to get off his nuts. Dude has skill and has the weapons to be very successful but he is even more unproven then Bray. Unfortunately, the Heisman is as much about what the players around you do to make you look good as it is your individual performance. So, in that respect, Tyler Wilson will probably look really good this year.

Wilson should put up big numbers this year simply because of the receivers and offense he is in, but I would think that Arky has 2-3 losses which will keep him out of the race.

I agree he isn't worthy of being a Heisman candidate but he sure will have the stats to back it up.

this is why I stopped caring about the Heisman Trophy over 10+ years ago....don't forget the politics involved and that it helps significantly which school you play for.

^You mean you quit caring after the joke following the '97 season, as did a good number of Vol fans.

I don't get the hype for Wilson, either. He played good for one half against Auburn. He has some great skill position players around him, but that shouldn't be anywhere near enough to warrant him being on the preseason heisman watch.
