ESPN will be in Tuscaloosa through this weekend to film a behind-the-scenes special on the first days of Alabama's preseason camp. The one hour long special will air Aug. 18 on ESPNU and Aug. 19 on ESPN. Excerpts will be shown nightly on ESPN programs
starting next week.

seriously, I have to ask: why haven't you added Bama tags or icons to your account.

it's clear as day you're a bama fan; are you afraid if you put it there, people aren't going to read what you post?

Can't wait for Bama to fall short of expectations this year. The disappointment in the bammers voices will be worth its wait in gold. They'll lose a couple times this year, no way Saban runs through the regular season unbeaten again. The odds just aren't in their favor ,especially with all those teams getting a bye right before they play them.

Darn !

I have already planned to put new shoelaces in my shoes that night.

I will be sure to forget to DVR the show on both nights, though.

No, just posted it under Around the NCAA for football fans, I always watch programs that cover the SEC. I think they did the same thing when LSU and Florida won the NC. Interesting to me to see any of the SEC teams, I would watch it if they were in Knoxville or Starkville.

Agree it will be hard and almost impossible to go 3 regular seasons undefeated, but I think you are wrong about the fans. Most of the fans I know are realistic and appreciate what Saban has accomplished over the past 3 years. It just speaks volumes about the respect a team has when that many teams want a bye week before playing them. But UT has enough to take care of without worrying about Alabama's fans and getting satisfaction from any loses they may suffer during the season.

Not a surprising opinion when posting from Alabama.

Yeah the team has a lot to worry about , but i don't . I'll take satisfaction in watching them fail. It'll be great seeing the traveling Gnome Nick blow a gasket on the sidelines a few times when he's actually losing.

I beg to differ.

A rabid, maniacal fan can get tremendous amounts of satisfaction from close rivals' losses during a season.

The rivals' losses can take your mind away from your favorite team's struggles and/or ease the stress of a tough schedule during a good season.

Take your pick. These are both wonderful options...from what other people tell me.

Not really an opinion just an observance. Most fans I know really expected a NC in 4 years with the recruiting classes Saban was bringing in, of course no one complained that he won in 3 years.

Call him what you want, but I will take him as head coach over any other coach in college football. Can you say that for your head coach?

I expect this meltdown to begin September 25 vs. the Hogs. That really should be a helluva game. Would not surprise me in the least to see Arkansas win a shootout. Which is the only way they could win.

Actually, it speaks volumes about your ignorance.
Those SEC games were scheduled before Saban ever even heard of AL.

Let's look at your ignorance, he said respect for the team. You said those schedules were made before Saban ever heard of AL. The man is 58 years old, I didn't know they made the schedules that far in advance. I guess they didn't have tv or newspapers in WV.
