check it out on NCAA Front Page video:

The Secret To Great D

From matching Insider Article:
...With no returning line starters, tackling was among the Vols coaches' top concerns before the opener. Derek Barnett became the first true freshman in team history to start an opener on the defensive line. His backup: another true freshman, Dewayne Hendrix.

In camp, Tennessee defenders finished each drill either with tackling or ball disruption. During non-tackling practices, they worked heavily on pursuit angles. Jancek counted only five missed tackles in 59 plays against the slippery Keeton and Utah State, which "stressed" the Vols with formations and pre-snap motion.

"We've always emphasized tackling, but the maturity level of the younger players allowed them to see the value," Jancek said. "They recognized this is really important."

I hate espn...not only are they all flaming liberals they hate the VAWLS

Probably because we're in the conservative Bible Belt. It's all part of the agenda.

In other news, let's get another Michael Sam update to see if he's signed a deal in the last 5 minutes.

I'm surprised SF didn't claim him off waivers

I love ESPN.

You couldn't pay me to watch any other "sports channel" out there. They don't even compare.

Once we start winning they will say more positive things about us and this will be a moot point.

I don't want ESPN to just like us, I want us to force it down their throats to ... Have to give is our dues. That's what I like about CBJ , he's not asking or pleading for likes he's forcing Espn and the talking heads to look this way along with all the other coaches out their . The days of looking past Tennessee as a probable "w" is comming to an end . The man has an intensidy that has been seen at Tennessee before . :clapping:

Sorry to the grammar police , going down the road texting with my thumb : )

Sports station - flaming liberals? I'm lost. What does that even mean? Are some sports more liberal than others? Do water polo teams support a strong defense department while tennis players attempt to erode our 2nd Amendment rights?
