Been a long time since the Vols were mentioned on the ESPN College Football page. It is even more unusual for any team to be mentioned twice on the page unless there is a scandal. ESPN loves us.

I'm really just happy to see our name in lights again. Was feeling a bit unloved for the longest time. :crazy:

ESPN = B-A-N-D-W-A-G-O-N.

But Volnation has been there supporting our guys through the worst of times as well as the best. Some of us are negavols, some are sunshine pumpers, and some are realists. But all are true fans that stick it out through the hard times.

I think it just goes to show that we are still relevant even during the tough times we've been having. We do have a terribly uncomfortable need for national attention on these forums though.

When the Vols are back on top, it helps to have ESPN on the bandwagon.

They have a far bigger role in college football than you may think.

who cares what espn thinks, they are just a bunch of bandwagon fans who are more concerned about how much money they make then the team that they promote.

I am a vol fan of 55 years. Some of you guys need to bury your tomahawks. They have been red for a long time. as long as TN plays like they did Saturday. The football world will love us. Besides my goodness look at our recruits that have committed. I am sure these kids don't want to hear negativity from our fan base. Anyone says bad things about TN only hurt themselves whether our team or our state. Hell I live in Florida born raised in East Tenn and bleed orange.

The way to get ESPN to love you is to win -
You scare the pants off of #6 team, you get noticed.
You BEAT a #6 team and you get loved.
Keep beating top 10s and ESPN love you longtime.

Nothing in my post said anything about ESPN's role in college football, nor did it say anything about my love or hate of ESPN.
