I know this isnt tennessee but this has to be one of the most biased articles Ive seen recently. Since when is 7-6 a successful season? since when does 7-6 mean youve been ripped from mediocrity. the recruiting class is not a product of the team, and one has to wonder how they got it. I just dont understand the sudden ole miss love.

This writer grew up in oxford, mississippi and it definitely shows in the article.

Ole Miss Rebels still have hill to climb under Hugh Freeze - ESPN

If given the choice between winning a big game and getting no love from espn versus losing a big game but getting praise from espn for the effort, I honestly think some on here would take the losing option.

Let's see, UT's has a few commitments for 2014 and this place is in a frenzy. 'Nough said.

But ESPN hates UT...remember!

Yet everyone is swinging from their sack when anything positive comes from them...such as Game Day last year.

What exactly is wrong with the article? Please enlighten me. And how does it effect Tennessee football.

Hey it's Ole Miss, since the Archie Manning era, 7 and 6 does qualify as a highly successful season for them

Auburn? U mean they still gotta football team? After the media feed fest I figured they would have to drop the program!

I think they are to the point of not caring. They pay players...prove it. They do it again...prove it. They change grades...prove it. They do it again...prove it. They ect....prove it. Wont change the fact that they'll just keep doing it.

I read the article. Yeah, it's a bunch of rah-rah stuff, but I didn't see a problem with it. Most of the people on this board would want to build a statue of Butch Jones if he went 7-6 and landed a top 5 recruiting class. And we're Tennessee, we've won championships during most of our lifetimes. They're Ole Miss. Just think how much harder and how much bigger of a deal it is there.

Ok. Even if the journalist was named Archie and had a rebel flag tattoo on his forehead, I still would not disagree with his article or think that it was TOO bias. 7-6 is a surprising success for Freeze's first season and his recruiting class was enough to make even the biggest haters take notice. I hope CBJ can be as successful.

It's like a guy I knew once said. To see the way it is is to know the way it was. The truth is, if Ole Miss' wishes were horses, then they would all be farmers.
