Disclaimer: I know there are plenty of people on this board who do NOT care about anything Lane Kiffin or USC are doing. If you are one of these people, abandon this thread immediately.

This isn't intended to be an attack on Dooley or "I wish we still had the Kiffins and O" thread.

I just wanted to share an article about recruiting and organization that I thought was interesting.

Sheriff Kiffin lays down the law at USC - Pac-10 Blog - ESPN

The way some people around here talk Kiffin should have a statue up in front of the stadium.

The real treat about the ESPN article were the comments at the bottom. All I can say is WOW to the Pac-10 homers.

Wow now all we need is another Shellie Smith Puff Piece...Like how he says he demands a lot of his players; wants to make it hard to be a trojan... Maybe its time for him to do a little soul searching and demand more of himself!!!

lol. Agreed.

Do as I say, not as I do.

His players should honor their school and should keep it clean while he betrays everyone, including his wife and drives drunk. What a role model.

I'd give Kiffin a statue....but only if we gave General Neyland something the size of the Colossus of Rhodes. :)

No surprise to me.

Using a new "act" to distract the USC players, administration, and supporters while he lays the foundation to blame others for his shortcomings and failures.

He is what he is... a wickedly cunning slug that grew up in the football world and is sucking it dry for his personal benefit and screw everyone else.

What has he failed at? I'm pretty sure he's catapulted himself to the top job in the country not named Texas.

If you want an Oscar nominee, you've got one in your own backyard. Just so happens he's a douche and was scared of what was going to be the Kiffin-Saban Show.

Ummm... I would say what happened at Oakland was a disaster.

I just love when people compare apples to oranges.

Spurrier was a real rousing success in the nation's capital.
My historical acumen may be a bit nebulous, but surely Pete Carroll procured Lombardi trophies at will.
Nick Saban was obviously too good for the Dolphins. Heck, he made Manny Wright cry.

Those that believe in his mouth, instead of looking at his LACK of ANY significant accomplishment other than $ and a hot wife, are hopelessly CLUELESS.

Coaches with two national championships and a great gig don't fear much. Certainly, not juvenile, loud mouth blonde jerks or programs that his teams have defeated multiple times.

Now, they obviously may stress out.

Jealous, bitter fans, however, fear and theorize on many different topics.

I just love it when apologists for lost causes rearrange the facts and ignore reality to fit their sad arguments.

I'll sit here and sing the praises of Nick Saban all day.
Meyer is a whiny little pus* who was scared as hell of Kiffin. Why else would he pay so much attention to him? Why make a big deal out of a program that was coming off a 5-7 season?

The only thing that makes me upset about the Kiffin ordeal, besides his replacement, is the fact Urban and those pitiful genetic glops of mediocrity they call Florida fans weren't able to witness a truly loaded Tennessee roster with Kiffin at the helm. He would have kicked your coach's effete arse.

And the rest of the SEC is lucky that Kiffin left, or the SEC title would have been amended to the Kiffin-Saban Show.

One of Bruce Pearl's principal suckups criticizing someone else for adultery. Hypocrisy at its best.
