I know this sounds dumb to some of yall but hear me out.

Two straight ESPN night games have been so badly officiated against us that something has to be up.

They reviewed almost every great play we made against GA and last night was just pathetic. They called so many b/s calls against us in both these games i just cant begin.

USC held us on 90% of thier plays last night and got called for NONE. Everytime Cry baby Whitney Rice got touched or dropped a ball he begged for a flag. They were given two time outs early instead of getting a delay like they should have got.

It is just funny to me that we joke about hating ESPN but in reality when we play on their we get hosed.

Just a thought of mine. Probably means nothing.

the refs were bad on both sides. there is no great conspiracy to screw UT.

Yeah CBC, I think this is going a tad far on the whole ESPN conspiracy. The SEC officials are just THAT bad at their job. ESPN actually has a fair number of Vols working for the network. The conspiracy is just a perception.

I didnt really meant to point the finger at a conspiracy but the officials are really bad when we play on ESPN. Being the baddest conference in the nation, you would think we could get some decent refs. And USC got every call until late.

but to put ESPN with the refs is what makes it ridiculous... Those are SEC refs who just sucked both ways. how much can ESPN be against when they've shown @ least 3 games i can think off the top of my head and herbie ranked us as his best 1 loss team? yeah, espn hates us and wants us to die

Herbie is just trying to make up for picking the cocks.

No need to get so defensive like you work for ESPN or something. Just something i noticed.

As long as ESPN continues to let the Vols win games on their network, I don't care. :rock2:

I do think it is funny how everybody on ESPN is making an about face on Big East.

Last week, when they wanted to defend USC, they were unanimously stating that a 1 loss team from SEC, PAC-10 should go to BCS game before 0 loss Big East team.

Now since USC is not that team, they are saying that winner Thursday night should be in.

I guess everybody has a right to change their mind.

I as well observed our lack of pass rush, and noticed far to much holding by SC, but there were no calls.

The sideline catch by SC pretty much was a close call....but there were only two replay views that were pretty vauge...it looked like his foot was on the white....more cameras are needed if they want to use replay.

As well, we got away with holding one of the Cocks (Rice) late in the 4th that should have given SC a first down to continue their last drive. Seems like the refs missed a few last night.

I only got to watch portions of the game last night due to a stupid Halloween party at my house. I finally got to watch it late in qtr 2 and most of the 2nd half with the sound off.
I'm glad to find out other ssaw the same crap I did. I never saw so much holding by SC's O-line in my life. I jsut wonder how much yardage that QB would have had if half of the obvious holds had been called. I have no doubt that the non-calls were what kept them in the game. A half decent job by the stripes and the Vols win by 4 TD's.
I guess I shouldn't complain because we did get a few breaks early with good bounces (finally) but It still burns me when you watch it happeing over and over and the refs just stand there keeping thir thumbs warm.
As I said, I had to keep the sound off so could somebody tell me what those fools were throwing water bottles on the field for? I have'nt had a chance to catch up on the threads yet.
