ESPN Piece USC Kid

Wow. I just watched a piece on ESPN about a child born with retinal cancer, in which he has lost both eyes. His only wish; before he had his only working eye removed, due to the recurrence of the cancer, was to meet the USC football team. Pete granted the child wish and then some. Class act by Pete that I cannot praise that enough. It shows how much we invest in our football teams, and how players should always cherish and respect that. The only thing this child wanted to do, before losing his vision forever, was to have lasting images of his favorite football team. I'm so glad he got his wish.

Me too! Just makes me angry that some athletes, that will go unnamed, just disrespect the absolute love that community has for them. They don't know how lucky they are.
