I say you guys have a nice shot at memphis. They shoot ALOT of bad shots and way too many threes. Carney wont drive and D Wash has been sleeping. I like the Vols chances in this one. Call me crazy, but i smell an upset.

Yes we rose to 26th. Just think if we would have won!!! we would have been about 19th..... Go vols and win 2 in a row and be in the top 15 :bow:

Couldn't disagree more - the Tigers are very athletica dn VERY deep. They are notorious for playing to the level of the competition - they will be on wednesday night - should be a great game. Besides they HATE UT and want to beat them more than anything.

First you say you couldnt disagree more, then you say it should be a great game. The way it will be a great game is if they shoot bad shots and let UT hang around. They give EVERYONE they play a chance to beat them. If they shoot 35 3's, they better be ready to have a loss. I still like UT's chances in this one. I agree they have ALOT of depth, and they are very athletic. They play fast paced streetball. I think if they had a coach worth a rats ass, and maybe a little discipline, they could beat everybody they play by 30. Until then though, the ECU's of the world will be able to pull upsets against them year in and year out. How many games have you seen them play this year?

Every game that is televised and the ones I attend at the Forum. I say it shouldbe a good game because I feel tigers are gonna win- I am not arguing (sp?) with you about it - just stating my opinion. UM got punched in the mouth by Texas and that will be fresh in their minds. When you have to play the conference schedule that they do I can see how it would be easy to lull yourself into thinking you are invincible. Bottom line - if the tigers are on UT is in trouble. I agree totally with the discipline - I am not a fan of Cal but he has elevated the program quite a bit. I do think it will be a great game - Pearl gets everything he can from his players and if he gets it tomorrow night then it will be a great game, but Memphis has shown that they have the depth to wear down any team.

I think Pearl will have UT ready to play, and hopefully it will be knockdown dragout. Memphis is gonna put UT on the line all night, so if UT can knock em down i think they keep close with UM and may even upset them. You going to the game? I am looking for tickets if you know anyone selling them. I live just south of Memphis in Nesbit,MS.

Not this one - the only tickets that are "available" are in the upper deck - I couldn't find any season ticket holders willing to give em up. You could probably pick some up around gametime though - I am sure the scalpers will be out in full force!! I have to have dinner with my wife's family so I wil be watching that one on the 46" Plasma!!!

If the weather breaks, i may just go down on Beale and try to pick some up. Prob end up watching at Buffalo WW.

The rain has tapered off and looks like it will dry up a little - definately cooler out though so if you go insearch of tickets - take a coat!!! I would love to go but if my choices are the upper deck or my couch - I take the couch!!

Yeah, Cal's terrible. Going to the Final Four at a program that was the losingest program in the country in the 10 years prior to his arrival, a winning percentage comparable with the elite active coaches, and being a candidate for every big time job that opens, he's terrible. Memphis needs a genius like Gottfried.
