ESPN to air Pat Summitt documentary this summer

Did any of you see the Robin Roberts segment on GMA yesterday? It was apart of a documentary about Pat that will air on ESPN this summer. In one scene they showed, she's sitting with Tyler looking through some Lady Vol memorabilia and talking about how difficult it was to step down. This scene in particular really touched me because she's crying when discussing her decision. Even the GMA hosts got choked up after the segment was over as they were discussing Pat and her legacy.
I can't wait to watch this documentary this summer. Kudos to ESPN for making a film about such an iconic coach, human being and VFL.

I saw the segment with Robin. Robin herself is a class-act reporter. You know that when she sits down to interview someone, it's going to be thorough, and done right. Robin Roberts used to work as a sports reporter for ESPN, so what better person to interview than our own Pat Summitt? :) I'll be looking forward to this one.

Should be great, same format at the 30 for 30 segments. I hope it focuses more on her coaching than her affliction.

Simmons himself said how proud he was of these 9 for IX as they are calling them. He said Venus VS and Pat XO can hang with the best of the 30 for 30s.
