Ok, I am cutting the cord.

I literally watch nothing but cozi, laff, comet, metv, and antenna tv anymore other than ESPN. All of which I can get OTA. With Tubi and Pluto I am pretty much good to go except for sports.

Does anyone have the espn watch subscription? I just want it to be able to watch the Vols games and other college football games that are on normal ESPN or the SEC affiliate. Can I do that with espn watch?

Thanks.

Pretty sure you still need a cable, satellite or streaming bundle provider to use Watch ESPN. You might look into DirecTV Now, YoutubeTV etc. You can get the content that includes ESPN for about $40.

Hulu with ESPN and affiliates is $40/mo. My buddy uses it for football season then cancels every year.

...or you can just borrow somebody else's cable password. I recommend somebody over 70 who has no clue they even have a cable username and password.

I have just lost total interest in cable tv.

I may just start watching games at a sports bar lol

TouTubeTv has been solid for me. Has all the ESPN channels included for $39.99. I like it because it has all of the local network channels here in Knoxville.

DIRECTV has been solid. I just threaten to cancel and they lower my bill. Im paying $54 a month with everything I'd want (and the wife with her channels) plus NFL Sunday Ticket.

But if the wind blows too hard do you lose connection? My friend used to have Direct and it was ALWAYS going out.

I've only lost connection once (during a tornado warning) since I've had it (January). But I can stream the majority of my channels online/phone as well

Sling is $20 for ESPN+$5 for SEC network, U, Goaline, etc. You can use the Sling app or use your credentials to log into ESPN app. I cancel it every January and set it back up in August.

I've been fairly pleased with DirecTv Now.
I'm still happy with it. It's still slightly clunky and not perfect, but I figure that since I'm paying about $100 less than I was for cable, I can deal with a bug every now and then.

We got it a couple weeks ago. It works pretty well. I do get the occasional drop out on games though. Given the price difference it's nothing to bad though.

Yeah... Inevitably, the steam is going to hiccup for a few seconds. Doesn't happen often, but it makes me crazy when it happens during a live event.

I have had Hulu live since it came out and I am pleased. My only complaint would be locals. I don’t live in a particular “market” so I get stuck with locals from Memphis although I live 100 miles away from there.

Anyone in KNOXVILLE have Hulu? Curious if it gets all the local networks.

I'm running it through a Fire Stick 4K with Ethernet connection. I have Comcast 150 MB Internet and it still sometimes stalls. I don't get it. I would think connecting through Ethernet would be plenty to run it without stalling.
