I have never seen anything like it... With all these "all-access looks" and "Inside the program".. I have seen them give more coverage to LSU and Bama this week than they give to any 2 teams leading up to the super bowl. These guys ride the nuts of these 2 programs more than anything i have ever seen.

I mean really... they're riding in Saban's car right now talking about his favorite music, and are about to go into his office and talk about his favorite straw hat.
Give me a break... Would'nt surprise me if next, they ask him what kind of shampoo he uses in his hair.. or what kind of toilet paper he uses to wipe his ass..

I know there is the whole "ESPN hates us" Conspiracy, but do you really think if we got back to their level, would we be getting the same kind of love?

Sorry for the rant. Had to get it off my chest

I'm quite certain that if we were #1 facing #2 Bama, you'd be saying the same thing, right? Right?

This is the national championship. The winner of this will go on and win it.

#1 and #2 teams, best conference, exclusive tv deal with the SEC, successful teams with passionate fanbases...

If we had the level of success we had in the '90s, that'd be us.

Give credit where it's due.

Yeah... this week. They still do stuff like this for them all the time.. Or even better, the "All access look at the Florida Gators" that they did at the beginning of the season. They really did alot to deserve that, didnt they?

ESPN is in the ratings business, and UT would pull no ratings for a show like that. As much as I hate the gators, they have national appeal because of their recent success. We're irrelevant right now, and it will take time to become relevant again

I'm so sick of hearing about this game...I'm just ready for it to be over with and hope LSU rips them a new one so I can hear all these Yellow Rammer Jammers STFU for a week or so. I may pose as a Tiger and make my first call into the Finebaum show next week. I know it sounds crazy, but I hate bama that much. I hate the color red/crimson, I hate Tide detergent, and I hate the phrase "Roll Tide"...We better beat those punks next year

Or, it might have something to do with that little multi-billion dollar TV deal with the SEC. We had an all-access piece as well.

Yea, there are lots of teams that have looked much better; I just can't think of a single one.

Yea. I actually am not confident that either will make it out of the Sec unscathed. Again, basing this on pure observation and wondering about wear and tear and pressure. Particularly after this game.

I too am very sick of hearing about bama/lsu constantly. I understand it makes for good tv, but I'll be thrilled when this weekend is over.

Umm OP are you aware of how often the #1 and #2 team meet each other in the regular season? VERY rare. If we were #1 playing against the #2 in regular season I would expect ESPN to know where Dooley went to pre-school at this point

What else are they supposed to talk about. Maybe a rebuilding team like us? It's 1 versus 2. Doesn't happen often in the regular season.

I'm tired of our butt hurt fans constant complaints about ESPN's business practices.
