In 2004, ESPN cancelled the show following pressure applied by their television partner the National Football League. The show focused on the trials and tribulations of a professional football team.

Was anyone else a fan? Wish they wouldn't have cancelled.

my fav. character was DH. He used to smoke crack at halftime and go visit cancer patients to give them autographs and steal their Oxycontin.

I had watched a couple of episodes. Wasn't really attached to it, but interesting show nevertheless.

I liked the show too and it's a shame it was cancelled. But I can see how a show about pro football players having affairs and using drugs would make the NFL frown.

And was the QB gay? I can't remember but I think he was.

I stopped watching during the episode where they pumped clean urine through a catheter into the guy's bladder so he could pass the drug test.

Ah yes, I do remember the show, back when ESPN was going through their phase of wanting to do shows and movies. It wasn't a bad show but it wasn't great either.

Pretty much all the ESPN shows and movies were meh. The Pete Rose movie looked like it was shot with a high school play budget and the guy who played him looked nothing like Rose.
