Bruce Pearl is on the national coach of the year short list right now as the buzz (figuratively -- don't panic Vols fans) is back in Knoxville. Next three are at home, so the buzz may get louder.

In it, he told fellow coaches, "It's not pretty and appears helter-skelter or out of control.
